MCP Servers automation integration with GenticFlow

Connect Model Context Protocol servers and approve the tools agents can use

GenticFlow connects to compatible third-party services through the Model Context Protocol using OAuth 2.1. Admins review the tools discovered on each MCP server and approve only the ones GenticFlow agents and workflows may call. Connection credentials stay hidden from users without MCP Server management access.

What GenticFlow does with this integration

Connect With OAuth

  • Connect compatible third-party services with OAuth 2.1
  • Automatic client registration where the provider supports it
  • Copy the required callback URL from the connection settings
  • Connection errors explain the provider's reason and the next step

Review and Approve Tools

  • Tools discovered on each server are listed for review
  • Approve only the tools GenticFlow agents and workflows may use
  • Unapproved tools stay unavailable to automation
  • Approvals can be revisited as a server's tools change

Controlled Access

  • Connection credentials stay hidden from users without MCP Server management access
  • Approved tools become available to agents and workflows under policy
  • Tool use follows the same execution history as other actions
  • Admins keep ownership of what external tools are exposed

How It Works

1

Connect an MCP server

Add a compatible third-party service and complete the OAuth 2.1 connection from MCP Servers.

2

Review discovered tools

GenticFlow lists the tools each server exposes so an admin can see what is available.

3

Approve the allowed tools

Select only the tools that GenticFlow agents and workflows are permitted to call.

4

Use them under policy

Approved tools become available to agents and workflows with execution history retained.

Automation with guardrails.

MCP Servers extends GenticFlow without bypassing the product controls. Events, alerts, or approved callable functions can enter the workflow while validation, permissions, and execution history stay in place.

GenticFlow

GenticFlow is a support operations platform for IT teams and MSPs. It brings investigation, technician action, and automation into one workflow, alongside the tools you already use. Routine issues resolve under your policies, the user stays updated, and anything that needs a technician escalates with the context and writes back to your PSA or ITSM.
