Microsoft 365 Management and Monitoring
Support the user, their account, and their device.
Microsoft 365 completes the user and account side of support alongside GenticFlow's endpoint tools. Review sign-ins, licenses, service health, and security controls, then confirm an account change when the issue calls for it.
Microsoft 365 context and actions for daily support.
Select a connected tenant in the web workspace and open the views enabled for it. Keep account work, service checks, and monitoring within the access boundaries of your team.
Accounts and Sign-In Activity
Browse users in the selected Microsoft tenant. Review account state, groups, licenses, and available sign-in activity to understand access problems before choosing a change.
Technician-Confirmed Account Actions
Reset passwords, sign out sessions, clear supported MFA methods, enable or disable accounts, change supported group memberships or licenses, and create users. Verify requester identity and authorization, then review and confirm each change.
Secure Score and Risk
Review Microsoft Secure Score, score history, assessed controls, and Microsoft remediation guidance. Separately enable Secure Score and high-risk user monitoring to raise platform alerts under your existing notification and ticket rules.
Service Health
Check the Microsoft service issues returned for the tenant, including resolved issues. Filter by service or status, then open the impact details and Microsoft updates when users report a service problem.
MFA Registration
Review registered authentication methods, MFA registration, and MFA capability. Search users and filter the report to follow up on registration gaps. Registration and capability do not prove MFA is enforced.
Licenses and Available Seats
Review license allocation and enable capacity monitoring to alert when available seats fall below your configured threshold or run out. This measures allocated seats, not actual usage, and does not purchase or assign licenses automatically.
Follow the issue across accounts, services, and endpoints.
Check the Account and Service
For a sign-in or access issue, review the account, available sign-in activity, assigned licenses, and relevant service issues in the Microsoft 365 workspace.
Follow the Issue to the Endpoint
When the problem needs device investigation, use endpoint diagnostics, remote control, terminal, and file transfer in GenticFlow as part of the same support work.
Confirm the Change and Record It
Choose an account action when needed. Ticket outcomes stay in internal notes; standalone outcomes appear in Audit Log. Temporary passwords are shown once and omitted from both.
FAQ
Microsoft 365 questions.
Connection requirements, report availability, and technician controls.
Where do technicians work with Microsoft 365?
Use Management → Microsoft 365 on the web to select a connected tenant and browse its enabled views. Account actions are also available on eligible web and mobile tickets and on Customer / Organization pages on the web. The tenant workspace and reports are web features; mobile supports account actions from eligible tickets.
What needs to be connected?
Assign an active Entra connector to the relevant Customer / Organization and enable the capabilities you need. Microsoft application permissions, tenant administrator consent, and GenticFlow access permissions apply. No endpoint agent is needed for Microsoft 365 reads or account actions. See the Entra ID integration page for setup requirements.
Which reports and monitors are optional?
Service Health, MFA Registration, Secure Score monitoring, and license capacity monitoring are separately enabled. Read-only reports can be used with Account Actions disabled. Scheduled monitoring uses the connector's configured sync interval. Service Health and MFA Registration reports do not create alerts.
What Microsoft licensing is required?
Sign-in activity and MFA Registration require Microsoft Entra ID P1 or P2 and the relevant permissions. Risky user monitoring requires P2. Each feature's connector setup lists the Microsoft permissions to grant; enabling a switch does not grant consent or establish report availability.
How current are the reports?
Cached reports show when their data was fetched, and Refresh requests a fresh read from Microsoft. Microsoft assessment and report-update dates remain separate. MFA Registration can lag by 36 hours or more and excludes disabled and deleted users. A fresh fetch does not mean Microsoft has produced a newer report.
Does GenticFlow automatically remediate Secure Score controls?
No. Secure Score shows adoption of Microsoft controls, with history and guidance for technician review. It is not a breach probability. Its optional monitor raises alerts at GenticFlow thresholds; it does not change Microsoft security configuration. Account changes require separate technician confirmation.
