Proxmox VE infrastructure context for support workflows with GenticFlow
Proxmox VE inventory and approved VM/LXC power commands
Use this integration to bring infrastructure context into support investigations, escalation packets, and governed response workflows. GenticFlow connects to Proxmox VE directly or through a remote agent to sync nodes, virtual machines, LXC containers, storage pools, physical disks, and ZFS pools. For stored VM and container resources, GenticFlow exposes approved power commands such as start, shutdown, reboot, suspend, resume, and stop where supported.
What GenticFlow does with this integration
Cluster Resource Sync
- Nodes, VMs, LXC containers, storage pools, physical disks, and ZFS pools can be synced
- VM and container records include node and VMID context for later commands
- Single-item refresh updates VM, container, and node status
- Agent mode can collect Proxmox data from inside private networks
Approved Power Commands
- Stopped VMs and containers can be started
- Running VMs can be shut down, rebooted, suspended, or force stopped
- Suspended VMs can be resumed or force stopped
- Running LXC containers can be shut down, rebooted, or force stopped
Direct or Agent Mode
- Direct mode uses Proxmox API credentials
- Agent mode routes discovery and commands through a selected remote agent
- Token or username/password authentication is supported by the connector
- SSL verification and timeout settings are configurable
How It Works
Connect Proxmox VE
Use direct API credentials or select a remote agent that can reach the Proxmox host.
Sync cluster resources
GenticFlow imports nodes, VMs, containers, storage, disks, and ZFS pools based on enabled sync options.
Expose supported resource commands
Available VM and LXC commands are determined from the stored resource state.
Attach infrastructure evidence to support cases
Support case investigations can include Proxmox state and the command outcome where an approved action was taken.
Infrastructure state tied to support work.
Proxmox VE resources are synced into GenticFlow so infrastructure support cases can include current status, related assets, and supported command outcomes. The operational system remains authoritative while GenticFlow records the evidence in the workflow.
